PTP delivered all preconstruction services, project management, environmental, ROW acquisition, PS&E, utility relocation, regulatory permitting, construction management and inspection, testing, contract administration, and QA/QC controls. PTP also provided environmental management for the development of the EAs for all of the Montgomery County Pass-Through projects.
This project, the first tolled facility in Montgomery County, provides two direct connectors constructed in highly confined urban locations. With nearly one mile of roadway widening and over one mile of bridge structures, this project is being developed for traffic congestion mitigation for the rapidly developing area adjacent to The Woodlands. Working through continuous traffic control, utility relocation, construction engineering and public involvement challenges, the PTP engineering and inspection staff is working to ensure that the project is delivered on-time within cost and in compliance with state specifications and standards. The $33.9 million project is being developed in accordance with LGPP Best Practices Guidelines and under direct federal oversight by FHWA.
