PTP Transportation was retained by the City of Sugar Land to provide oversight and construction contract administration. PTP is acting as an extension of the city staff to provide management oversight, coordination with all parties including the contractor, city staff, TxDOT, utilities, the design engineer and the independent testing lab. In addition, PTP is handling all contract administration and document control to ensure 100% reimbursement by TxDOT through FHWA compliance. This includes generating monthly pay estimates, monitoring the contractor’s DBE program, monitoring for Title VI compliance, auditing all city and contractor project records and establishing a document control system that complies with LGPP and legacy requirements and representing the City at all state and federal audits. PTP will handle project close-out at the conclusion of construction.
This $4,836,268.92 project included 0.25 mile road improvements and included two major structures and the relocation of city water and sewer lines.
